Riding a Slalom & Figure of Eight

description of videoIn this video we demonstrate the slalom and figure of eight manoeuvre. Moving away positively will help gain balance and confidence allowing for gentle adjustment of the throttle and clutch as necessary. Often the slalom is performed slightly faster than the figure of eight.

Remember to:

  • Try to relax
  • Ride between cones 1 & 2 when moving off
  • Use as much room as necessary when riding the figure of eight

You must avoid:

  • Grip too tightly
  • Look down towards the cones
  • Allow the bike to lose momentum
